The timesworn gospel<\/p>\n
No shallow mortal shall convey:<\/p>\n
Unfathomed and dissuaded,<\/p>\n
Sifted into black dust.<\/p>\n
To remain.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The dark fretting nimbus<\/p>\n
pulsates, as<\/p>\n
proud time prowls away.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The bovine builder constructs a diagram–<\/p>\n
A house of broken lines,<\/p>\n
But the pyramid<\/p>\n
is just another<\/p>\n
pathway to the sky.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And only the witness wind<\/p>\n
will live to tell<\/p>\n
that tale again.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Wind child<\/p>\n
wanders down the winding way,<\/p>\n
Inspecting the pyramid<\/p>\n
with an artist eye.<\/p>\n
And with sure certainty<\/p>\n
Proclaims the pyramid to be<\/p>\n
A pathway to the sky.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Only God and the Holy Cow can conceive.<\/p>\n
The rest is left<\/p>\n
for the dust<\/p>\n
and the dead to perceive.<\/p>\n
