I have sadness<\/strong><\/p>\n

Like a pocketful of change,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Which jangles<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the commerce of my despair–<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nobly kind,<\/strong><\/p>\n

And heartlessly fair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While the scale of my injustices<\/strong><\/p>\n

Balance<\/strong><\/p>\n

A tether, so fine,<\/strong><\/p>\n

I fail to recognize<\/strong><\/p>\n

The responsibility as mine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Still–narrow and vague,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shadows cloud my resolve–<\/strong><\/p>\n

A film of oil on<\/strong><\/p>\n

The surface of my thoughts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basically clear,<\/strong><\/p>\n

But murky in spots.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I crave the marrow<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 of love,<\/strong><\/p>\n

And chew on useless bone.<\/strong><\/p>\n
