This lesson in doubt–<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of spilt milk glass, over table,<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 bursting out.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this half empty vessel<\/strong><\/p>\n

My thoughts can but only half fill;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fear, indecision and apathy wrestle<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For control of my will.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tears in an ocean<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of tides over turn.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Undertow of shallow<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and deep self-concern..<\/strong><\/p>\n

These limbs time’s twisted<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patience solemn slowly wrought,<\/strong><\/p>\n

As if no straight lines existed<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In that dimension of knots.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s an ongoing friction,<\/strong><\/p>\n

An army of days in a war of time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hungry slaughter of conviction,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once flesh is past its prime.<\/strong><\/p>\n
