And none that saw,<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 saw very well.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However sky<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and cloud with rain,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Could not raise<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the leaf to branch again.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Birds may squander<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the right to fly,<\/strong><\/p>\n

And call their rapture<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 with a joyous cry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But no chancemute leaf<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 should ever fall<\/strong><\/p>\n

With so much as a whisper<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 or faintest call.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over once a forest flew<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A bird whose call swift silent grew.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leaf, aground, could not say<\/strong><\/p>\n

The anguish found in bird at play.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voice bird could not speak<\/strong><\/p>\n

To the happy laughter of the creek.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Creek run only where earth allow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earth is still most silent now,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silence upon the forest autumns now to tell<\/strong><\/p>\n

Where once upon a forest a leaf fell.<\/strong><\/p>\n
