I hear the silver jingle of her industry,<\/strong><\/p>\n

It whirs as progress in the wheels of her mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Turning in circles– perfectly, ceaselessly,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ticking methodically as the mainsprings unwind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I hear her engines, their muscular humming,<\/strong><\/p>\n

And wonder in awe at the power of stealth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For she alone knows and plans what is coming,<\/strong><\/p>\n

But that is a secret she keeps to herself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I am a passenger in this car to vaguery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I go nowhere, transported by her.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She turns love into an act of slavery:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I move to action– she does not stir.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And though we pretend that we seem to be moving–<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Twirling and reeling in the safe fog of gray,<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our arrival will surely never be proven.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For we never depart. We merely drive, drive away.<\/strong><\/p>\n
